It is the most comprehensive category, providing automatic fire detection throughout the entire buildings. This is the highest rating you can have.
Key Features of this alarm System
Detectors are installed in all rooms, corridors, and areas, including normally unoccupied spaces like storerooms and plant rooms.
The goal is early detection anywhere in the building, giving maximum warning time for evacuation.
Typically includes smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual call points, all linked to a central fire alarm panel.
Why is it important?
The system ensures the earliest possible warning of fire, reducing risk to life and allowing safe evacuation even from remote or less-used areas.

Voltage Compatibility: The UK operates on a 230V supply voltage. Please ensure your devices are compatible with this standard. Using incompatible equipment may pose a fire or electrocution risk.
Safety Certification: All electrical items must meet UK safety standards. Look for the CE marking or UKCA marking on your devices. Items without these certifications may not be permitted in student accommodation.
Plug Type: UK plug sockets three-pronged plugs. If your equipment uses a different plug type, you must use a certified adapter or converter that is CE marking or UKCA marked.
High-Risk Items: Certain items such as rice cookers, space heaters, or multi-socket extension leads are not permitted
Inspection on Arrival: Electrical equipment will require testing upon arrival, and this will be arranged through our estates and facilities team. This is to ensure they are safe to use and meet UKCA standards.
